Meet Tamara
The Spoiled Mama began in 2006 during my own pregnancy. I was standing in a store aisle, turning bottles over and reading ingredient labels, only to realize I couldn't confidently use many of the products marketed to expectant moms.
I wasn't trying to start a skincare company. I was simply trying to solve my own problem.
As a healthcare provider and expecting mom, I knew ingredients mattered. I wanted pregnancy-safe skincare that felt luxurious, delivered real results, and never made moms choose between safety and performance.
So I went home and started creating my own formula...
The very first product I created wasn't a cream or a butter.
It was Bump Gloss Stretch Mark Oil.
Long before The Spoiled Mama became a skincare brand, I was simply an expecting mom searching for pregnancy-safe skincare I felt comfortable using on my own growing belly. When I couldn't find it, I created it myself.
That little bottle became the foundation of everything that followed.
In fact, before we were known as The Spoiled Mama, we were literally The Sp-OIL-ed Mama. Our original logo even highlighted the word "OIL" because our very first product, Bump Gloss, was the heart of the brand.
As more moms discovered Bump Gloss, they also wanted something richer to help lock in moisture. That's when Tummy Butter was born.
Today, Bump Gloss and Tummy Butter work together in our Stretch Mark Prevention Kit, our signature routine and one of our most trusted collections, helping thousands of moms support healthy-looking, hydrated skin throughout pregnancy.
